We collect only what we need to run the service, never sell data, and never use your data for advertising or marketing.

This policy applies to the alxxAI Discord bot and the alxxAI dashboard on alxx.dev.

  • We only collect data needed to run the service.
  • We never sell or rent your data.
  • We do not use your data for ads or marketing.
  • We do not train AI models on your data.

What We Collect

Minimum Necessary

Discord Server Information

  • Server ID and name
  • Server icon and owner ID
  • Configured channel IDs and names (memory and log channels)
  • Install context (guilds you authorize and whether you can manage the server)

User Information

  • Discord user ID, display name, avatar URL
  • Email address only if it exists on your Discord account or you provide it for billing or support
  • Email is not required to create an account

We do not collect DMs. We do not intentionally collect IP addresses, device identifiers, or location data. Hosting providers may log IPs for security and abuse prevention.

Message Content (Memory Channels Only)

  • Message content, timestamps, author and channel metadata
  • Thread and reply context
  • Attachment metadata only (no file downloads)

We only ingest messages from channels you enable with /memorychannel add.

Usage and Billing

  • Command usage, moderation logs, and error logs
  • Token usage, transaction history, Stripe customer ID
  • Account ID and server settings (model preference, log channels)

  • Auth session cookie for alxx.dev
  • Bot install state cookie
  • Return path cookie after login

We share only the prompt and necessary context with AI providers. We never sell data or allow advertising profiles.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights, prevent abuse, or comply with Discord policies.

  • Least-privilege access and monitoring

Retention & Deletion

Delete

Delete When You Want

  • Data is retained while the bot is installed and memory channels are enabled
  • Removing the bot schedules deletion of server data
  • Limited backups exist briefly for recovery, then are deleted
  • Deletion requests are processed within 30 days

Message purge: /memorychannel remove deletes stored messages for a channel.

Full deletion: Email contact@alxx.dev with your server ID.

alxxAI is not intended for users under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required to use Discord in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
